In today's world with its uncertain economic and political landscape, we can look to the theater for a better understanding of ourselves and others. A vibrant, thought-provoking play can influence the way we feel about our lives and encourage us to take a look at our past and our values. Helen Edmundson’s The Clearing is such a play — a searing and politically relevant drama that boldly holds a mirror to our times. Theater 808 is thrilled to be producing this remarkable play at the prestigious 59E59 Theaters this fall. We are not only committed to bringing you this powerful production, but also to giving back to our community and helping create life long theater goers by donating a portion of our proceeds to the Theatre Development Fund Education Program.
